Rippa Rugby is available in Term 1 & Rippa Rugby and Quick Rip are available Term 4
The game:
Rippa Rugby and Quick Rip is available for Years 1 – 6. It’s played with 7 players on the field, with up to 3 substitutes which can rotate at any time. With a mixed team, there must be at least 1 girl on the playing area at all times.
This year BOP Rugby Union have introduced an all girls grade. You will be able to specify if your daughter would be keen on playing in this grade and if we have enough girls registered we will try and organise this.
Quick Rip is not available in Term 1

Location:

League dates:
Games are played on Tuesdays from 30th October to 4th December
Game times:
Games are between 4.00pm and 6.00pm.
Draws will be e-mailed to coaches and managers who will distribute to the team, alternatively you can check the draw directly, under tab above.
Cost:
$30 – This can be paid by following the online payments section on the school website or at school via cash, Eftpos or cheque. Alternatively through online banking:
School Bank Account Number: 12 3146 0027832 02 (Please note this is a new account number for Pillans Point School as of 22nd August 2018). Please use ‘Child’s name’ and ‘Rippa rugby’ as references. Alternatively, you can pay at School via cash, Eftpos or cheque.
You may notice the price has increased slightly this term. This is down to changes to sports uniform and sports equipment upgrades.
** Please note that your child will not be entered into a team unless this form has been filled out and payment has been made by Wednesday 3rd October **
Practice:
To be confirmed by your coach/manager when the teams have been put together.
Uniform:
A uniform top will be loaned to the children before the season starts, these must be returned when the season finishes. The cost of borrowing this is included in the term fee. Children can wear their own shorts, blue would be preferred but that’s not essential.
All children playing Rippa Rugby play in bare feet, no shoes or boots.
Each team will need a coach and manager. Referees will be provided by the BOP Rugby Union.
