Uniform:
These sports uniforms are supplied for the season by Pillans Point School, thanks to Kukri. Please note we do not charge a fee for the loan of the uniforms, but if they are not returned within a reasonable amount of time after the season has ended we will have to invoice you.
As you will see below we will need parents to help with coaching, refereeing and score bench. There are resources available to help with these and without volunteers to cover these little jobs the teams will not be able to play. Even if you haven’t done any of them in the past it is a great opportunity to get involved with your child’s sport.
** Please note that your child will not be entered into a team unless this form has been filled out and payment has been made by Tuesday 10th April**
For further information about this sport please head to the Tauranga City Basketball website below which has details on coaching, refereeing, the rules and much more.
Getting started coaching clinics:
There will be a coaches evening, early in May. They are geared towards coaches new to Basketball who need help with the coaching basics. Details of these will be available on the Tauranga City Basketball website www.taurangacitybasketball.co.nz under coaching and refereeing very soon.
