Pillans Point School is part of the East Cluster which contains a total of seven primary schools. Sports and events such as swimming, cross country, athletics, speeches and more all have a school level competition of which winners are entered into the East Cluster competition. Following this winners then compete at Western Bay level which covers all six clusters from the Bay of Plenty.
